I actually worked on a surgeon sim horror game for some other game jam a year ago
and it's somewhat like SMILE MORE with the 2D characters in a 3D world but not really similar
i downloaded it because i didnt have anything to do but it turned out to be really really good!! i recommend playing this<33

Heyyy so this shows up every time I boot up the game. I don't think this is meant to look like that... I can't figure out how to fix it either.
Hmm that's so strange! We're not sure what this is, as it's not an issue our playtesters have run into, nor anything that's been reported to us by players. It's possible this may be a GPU issue on your end. Have you tried running a different game? Could help to check and update your drivers!
All the other games have worked, idk why this is happening... I'll try on a different device
Awesome stuff!! Yea, RNG'd bodies have been thrown around as an idea, but this was a game jam game, meaning we only had a few days to actually make the game lol! Everything after that was pure stretch goals and polish. Great video and we're so glad you enjoyed!

hey so i feel a tiny bit stupid asking this, but every time i try to do the pins to change the expression i honestly have no clue what im doing wrong id love some advice
no worries! what are you having trouble with specifically? the way the expressions work is that you grab certain points of the face (indicated by the small white circles) and drag them into place. then you grab a pin from the pincushion and place it there before it moves back (it should stay for a couple of seconds, so there should be enough time to pin).
there are a bunch of different expressions that can be made as indicated on the right side of the screen! once you make a new face, the detected expression should update with what that is.

Hello! This game is so facinating and i adore the style and body horror. However sadly i think i may have encountered a bug while playing.
I was shooting for one of the endings by giving everyone their real faces doing the malware minigame, i made it to the last defective paitent, and i put in the code, but it gave me just a black empty space and i couldn't do anything but wait till the timer went down.
Now i don't know if its something either im not getting or an actual bug, but if its the latter then i'm letting you know now. Again, been loving the game and i hope you see to this possible bug soon :)
(P.S: You won't snitch to those higher ups that i've been doing all of that...right?)
Hi! I'm so glad you enjoyed the game! It seems you've come across one of our bugs :( This is one that's been made known to us already, and we are fixing it for our newest build.
In the meantime, that bug should be avoidable if you restart the app completely every time you want to play a new game, rather than starting a new game from the main menu.

im having trouble knowing what the controls for changing the limbs are, does anyone have a clue on how to do it... Maybe i skipped something but im confused
Hi! To switch the limbs, you just need to use your scroll wheel. We're planning on making it so you can just click the arrows as well if you're using a trackpad. Should be in the build we'll be putting on Steam for free!

Hey Cursed File! That was initially added as a little easter egg for the programmers. We weren't expecting our little game jam entry to get the attention it's been getting, so we're reworking that along with other general improvements for the next patch!
Oh, that's cool. But than i'm lost on how to find 3rd ending other than loosing or completing the game. Any hints? 🥺
Check out the tattoo on Patient #3 to help you out with that "something" on your terminal. From there, try a new run of the game and pay attention to the red text in the files! Smiling isn't the only way to go ;)
When submitting your files, what you do on the terminal will help you not get marked incorrectly. Hope that helps!

we're so happy you all enjoyed the game!! at the moment, there aren't plans to expand on the content - it'll remain as a short game with all 3 endings (hopefully you guys were able to get them!) - but we do want to do some clean up and put it on Steam with achievements :D
